By train:

From the Central Station in Naples (Napoli Centrale Garibaldi Pace, take the Circumvesuviana railway to Meta di Sorrento. Then the SITA buses to Positano.

By car from the North:

Take the A3 Naples-Salerno motorway and exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Take the SS 145 state highway towards Sorrento and then the SS 163 towards Positano along the coastal road.

By car from the South:

Take the A3 Naples-Salerno motorway and exit at Salerno. Go towards Vietri and then follow the SS 163 state highway towards Positano.

By air:

From Capodichino Airport at Naples, take the ATAN bus into central Naples (Napoli Centrale) and then follow the instructions for travel by train.
